The Grand Tour of the Herculaneum Academy

Welcome to the first Grand Tour of the Ercolanese Academy, an experience that brings together culture, archaeology, art and discovery.

Itinerary

- 9.00 am: discovering the historic and secret Garden of Villa Aprile, among the first Villas of the Golden Mile with welcome coffee;

- 10:00 am: Visit to the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum with guide and entrance ticket included for a total of 2 hours;

- 12.30 pm: Visit to the Virtual Archaeological Museum of Herculaneum with reconstructions of the ancient Roman cities; 

- 1.30pm: Lunch at a local pizzeria with a typical menu which includes a typical appetizer, Grand Tour pizza and a dessert;

- 3.00 pm: Continuation along the Golden Mile to the Royal Palace of Portici with a visit to the royal apartments and the Herculanense Museum, the first museum of archaeological finds following the discovery of the excavations of Herculaneum

- 5.30 pm: Conclusion of the tour and continuation towards the Portici - Ercolano station to return to Naples
